More than 1,300,000 people have benefited since the institution was created.
An association to save lives - BF Sanitation
Banco da Família is the first partner in Brazil with the NGO Water.org in the Water credit project: microcredit for drinking water and sanitation, with the contribution of the Inter-American Development Bank - IDB.
It is intended to enable thousands of families residing in poor areas to access drinking water and complete sanitary facilities. The objective is to serve 8,500 families in four years, directly benefiting approximately 33,600 people.
The concretization of basic sanitation systems in needy communities represents a major advance in citizenship and responsibility, effectively raising what is meant by social development - positively impacting public health, environmental protection, school, professional productivity, hygiene and well-being.
The benefits achieved through basic sanitation directly affectthe care that humans need to take with natural resources, in order to maintain them for future generations.
All the actions of the Banco da Fampilia are committed to:
- Support for women: developing and valuing women's work.
- Transparency with customers so they can make the best decisions.
- Commitment and contribution to results.
- Ethics, honesty and professional transparency as the basis for building a long-term relationship.
- Valorization the individual: developing, respecting, recognizing their role in the institution and in society.
